For Aesthetic Value

Handmade Art and Jewelry

For Aesthetic Value is ran by Mikayla Henry, a college student pursuing a bachelors in Studio Art. Mikayla works in a variety of mediums and loves working with bold bright colors. For Aesthetic Value can often be seen around the Bay Area at vendor events.

Bay Area Events

Mikayla loves creating and then connecting with her community over her art. Besides being in vendor events around the area, including Art Walk and Livermore Pride, they have been in multiple juried exhibits at the Uncle Credit Union Art Gallery at the Bankhead and have curated the first student-run gallery at Las Positas, which focused on LGBTQ+ art.

“What Mikayla Henry's story emphasizes is the fruits of labor possible for young people following their passion"

Simon Clarke, Writer for Naked Magazine
